I capped off a manic week by taking the Program Director to task on Friday over his delivery approach. As a contractor, career limiting moves should always be avoided but sometimes principles shouldn't. Set me up perfectly to unwind with a cold beer and a pizza in front of the footy on Friday night.
We had friends over for a long lazy Saturday lunch after which my photography mentor (www.michaelamendolia.com) took me along to a photo book launch at Bondi Icebergs. The photos were great, but i was constantly distracted by the most iconic beach scene in Australia unfolding right before my eyes. A beautiful sunset rolled in, the last golden rays of the day draped over the northern point and the surfers eked every last drop out the dusk sets. Hmmmm.....
On Sunday, having deferred mothers day last week, i took The Lovely Samantha and Mum to a very impressive make-it-up-to-them location - The Berowra Waters Inn. Ten courses, four hours and several hundred dollars later, i was back in the good books.
