On Friday we said goodbye to my boss' boss, a sabbatical brought forward by what I'm told is a biannual blood letting un-affectionately know as a "spill-n-fill". The heartfelt tributes on the achievements of a sixteen year career did make me stop and reflect upon my career to date. The past decade has certainly had benefits, but having not left any lasting legacy anywhere is a small regret.
This weekend flew low on the radar. Saturday afternoon BBQ with Shalome et al., home to a DVD.
Sunday was cold and wet. The kind of morning you wake up and just imagine how wonderful it would be for someone to bring you tea and French toast in bed. Cue The Lovely Samantha. Shoot me the next time I complain.
