One week till India.

Hey gang;

A bit blase but I'd forgotten it was a long weekend. Since finishing up, it all seems to be one big long weekend.

Bodhi has had conjunctivitis and The Lovely Samantha has been feeling anything but with a sore throat so you can imagine the house-bound thrills we got up to this weekend. Friday night was spent watching the footy. I love Friday night footy. Whoever decided to broadcast two games back to back should be given a logie.

I've been waking early to take some pictures in a nearby wetlands rehabilitation area. The locals and council fixed up the area and while it is tiny, it does attract some interesting bugs which i've been attempting to capture. I've had this idea for ages to do an exhibition but have never had a common theme that seems to be required of an exhibition, so this could be a go-er. Like most of my ideas though it'll probably go in the "too hard" basket but watch this space just in case.


On Monday I popped by my grandmother's place to clean her windows, reset the clocks and all the other things a good grandson does. Everytime i call her she complains about life and whenever i go over there she lists the latest body parts to have given up on her. We also visited Sam's great uncle and aunty who are just as old and just as broken down but are far better at getting old gracefully than my Nonna. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Just one week and i'll be off on my next big long weekend to India.
